The Board of Supervisors has no vision for the county other than to continue high growth and high density wherever land is for sale. I offer a clear vision that manages growth and reinvests in our existing neighborhoods and business areas.

A note to voters who vote the party ticket:
If you vote your party ticket in Clover Hill, Republican or Democrat, our future will be forever sealed to be like Fairfax. I am the only candidate in Chesterfield with the knowledge, experience, and ability to change our direction to focus on the quality and not the growth of Chesterfield.
I have added more topics as you scroll down. The Board of Supervisors has not been addressing these topics and the proposed ZOMod Ordinance needs to be denied.

On Oct. 5, 2023 at the Brandermill Men's Club "Meet the Candidates" meeting, Chris Winslow told the audience that I offered to drop the $9400 cash proffer if the Hombuilder's Association would support me. My op-ed (see below) only offers to drop the cash proffer and utility connection fees (a $20,000 reduction) for affordable homes under $280,000 sold to first time homebuyers to get young people into homes. That is the only context where I would support a reduction of the cash proffer. If you hear any other offensive claims about my actions or character from Chris or others, please let me know so I can set the record straight.

I retired from Chesterfield Planning Department this year to offer a different future for Chesterfield. I believe citizens and businesses came here because of the quality that Chesterfield presented. That quality has been fast disappearing over the past four years. Growth needs to be managed to ensure it enhances our quality of life. Quality brings more quality as it becomes the expectation. That is a TRUE First Choice community.

EXAMPLES OF LOSING QUALITY -
A TRUE First Choice community attracts people and businesses by keeping a focus on the quality of the community and how people can engage within it. Our current path of high growth and density is changing our community fabric, and the future ZOMod Ordinance will enable development at a NOVA level. Our community has been declining in quality over the past four years and I list some examples below. I want to improve our direction in these areas.
As an Independent candidate, I am not supported or directed by Republican/ Democratic parties. I am also limiting donations to my campaign to no more that $100 in total from any person or business to ensure my impartiality with decisions and to protect those who wish to donate. At $100 or less, I do not have to report names in my financial reporting records.
